WMCHS Band

Concert Band

The WMCHS Concert Band is open to all students. Chair auditions are held each Fall with opportunity for challenges. This ensemble performs several concerts each year studying a variety of repertoire common to the wind ensemble.

Jazz Band

Students must be enrolled in band to audition for the WMC Big Band. The rhythm section (guitar, piano, bass) is open to the general student population for audition. Students will gain a deeper understanding of music theory and improvisation and play a variety of jazz styles.

Steel Band

This percussion ensemble is open to all students involved in the music department. The WMCHS Steel Band will play a variety of music in the Socca, Calypso and Reggae styles.

Pep Band

Pep band is the athletic band component to our department. Generally, the pep band performs at the Warrior Weekend soccer game and many home basketball games throughout the year.
