The Warriors of Western Michigan Christian High School field 19 teams in 12 sports (six boys' and six girls'). Our athletic department begins this year competing in Class C. This fall, our boys' tennis, girls' volleyball, and boys' soccer teams mix it up in the River Valley Conference. The volleyball and soccer programs are traditional state powerhouses, and the tennis program continues to gain momentum. This fall we've added a girls' freshman volleyball team.

We believe that the education offered to students at WMCHS must be Christ-centered and excellent. We believe we are teaching students to be "difference-makers." If they are to make a difference, we believe they must be able to think critically, while rounded in a strong Christian tradition. We believe students should develop a mature understanding of their faith and their world through discussion, reading, experience and reflection on what they have been taught. Questioning and searching are not only encouraged but essential. |

The Western Michigan Christian family has made offering first-classtraining in the arts (performing and graphic) a top priority. WMCHS boasts three quality bands, top-notch choral program and drama team,and an inspirational art curriculum.
The school hosts many performances and galleries to showcase thetalented students and staff who bring glory to God through their crafts.

Faith plays an integral role in the educational experience here at Western Michigan Christian. We are creating an atmosphere where our students and staff members can develop their personal relationships with Jesus Christ through daily Scripture reading and devotions, regular chapels and student-lead small group sessions. Our aim is to cultivate WMCHS students into mature young adults who will continue to serve God and be reflections of God's love to others in their communities throughout the world. |
