Juniors: you will be taking the ACT here at school on Tuesday, March 6 as part of the Michigan Merit Exam (MME). Get ready for the test by attending one or both of the ACT Prep workshops that will be provided here at school on Saturday, February 25 and Saturday, March 3 from 8:30am – 12:00noon. Cost is $15 per session. Space is limited so sign up today in the office.
Valentine's Day flower sale! Carnations will be for sale during lunch Wednesday-Friday this week. You can buy a carnation for $1.50 to send to anyone here at school - the carnations will be delivered on the afternoon of Valentine's Day. Carnations can be sent anonymously or with your name on it. Come see the Junior class officers in the cafeteria at lunch time to purchase yours!

WMC is so richly blessed because of all of you....Donors, Business Supporters, Volunteers, Students, Staff, and all who attended! And a HUGE shout-out to the Auction Committee who worked tirelessly for months to make this happen!

Mrs. Wood’s Introduction to Business class has selected International Aid in Spring Lake for their trimester project. They are collecting donations for personal hygiene kits until February 17. Each hygiene kit includes:
• 1 12-16 oz. bottle of shampoo
• 1 3-6.4 oz. size bar soap
• 1 washcloth
• 1 4-6 oz. tube toothpaste (can remove from box)
• 1 6” toothbrush (individually wrapped if possible)
• 1 comb (unbreakable)
• 1 2-6 oz. hand sanitizer
• 1 2.5-3.5 normal size “stick” deodorant (no spray)
• A heavy-duty, one-gallon sealable plastic bag to store all of the items.
Donations of any or all of these items would be greatly appreciated. There will be a collection bin in the main lobby. Students are also making fleece tie blankets for the International Aid blanket initiative. Donations of new blankets would be gladly accepted!
The class is sponsoring a Staff Cutest Baby Photo Contest to raise money for both of these projects. (25 cents per vote!
