SATURDAY BASKETBALL

When:         Saturdays - February 18, 25 and March 3

Who:           2^nd/3^rd/4^th grade – 9am-10:30am

5^th/6^th grade – 10:30am-12:00pm

Cost:           $25.00 includes a camp t-shirt, free admission for player and family to a girls JV and Varsity      basketball game on Thursday, February 23 with an opportunity to play during half-time.

Where:        Western Michigan Christian competition gym

What:          Introductory skills and fundamentals will be taught to the players with an emphasis on shooting, defense, and game play.

We will be flipping 5^th and 6^th hours this week.

Science Olympiad this week: today after school and Thursday at lunch in Mr. Forbes' room.

Congrats to the seniors who won Nerd day and the guy trash can competition and to the freshmen gals for their trash can win!  This brings the point totals to: Seniors (1350), Juniors (1000), Sophomores (950) and Freshmen (925).

Homecoming Court Reps we will practice TODAY in the big gym at the VERY beginning of lunch!!

Twins:  Remember to report to Rayonee at lunch to be counted!

Tomorrow is Color War.  Seniors (black), Juniors (purple), Sophomores (orange), Freshmen (blue), Teachers (brown).

Remember, there is a homecoming dance Friday after all the games!  It is $5 and will be from after the varsity game till 11:30.  If you would like to bring a guest be sure to fill out a form and turn it back into the office by Friday!!

Conditioning for girls’ spring soccer starts Thursday after school to 4:30 pm.

Three of our students who attended the Michigan State Band and Orchestra Association District 7 Solo and Ensemble festival on Saturday made Superior ratings which qualifies them to continue on to the State Solo and Ensemble festival.  Congratulations to Anna Zeerip - Flute, Elizabeth Boeve – Violin, and Lindsay Purvis - piano.
