Attention Seniors!! If you did not turn in your order form  for your cap and gown, graduation announcements and other products to Jostens the deadline has been extended one final time. You can mail your orders to Jostens or place your orders online at Jostens.com by this Friday, January 13th. Please don’t miss this FINAL deadline! Product availability will be limited and prices will go up after Friday.  Seniors ~ If you are on this list you did not turn in your Jostens order Tuesday.  You may still give it to Miss Toman by Friday!  Steven Barnes, Ryan Bekins, Ryan Briggs, Timothy den Dulk, Rebecca Hallenbeck, Jacob Henderson, Kari Hoffius, Jason Jackson, Brandon Knoll, Mitchell Landheer,

Ben O’Brien, Arianna Pedroza.

 

Seniors:  Don’t forget to hand in your head-and-shoulders yearbook pictures in to Mr. Schut.  He needs two of them-one for the Senior Class picture in the hallway, and one for the yearbook.  The due date is Friday.

 

Juniors - if you did not get a packet for selling Little Caesars as a fundraiser for prom, please stop by Mrs. Kreuze's room to pick one up.  Remember: the top two sellers get a free prom ticket!

 

Junior Class Officers - please meet in Mrs. Kreuze's room at lunch time today.

 

Science Olympiad in Mr. Forbes' room at lunch today.

 

Homecoming is quickly approaching!  Class Posters are due Friday, January 27.  Remember the theme is Board Games and each class chose a game and their color the Seniors are Candyland (black), Juniors are Clue (purple), Sophomores are Scrabble (orange), and the Freshman are Pictureka (blue).  See Miss Toman for materials, guidelines, etc.

 

Homecoming court will be between the JV and Varsity games Friday, February 3, 2012.

 

There will be a dance following the Friday night homecoming games here at school till 11:30pm.  We will have a DJ, snacks, and lots of school spirit!  Admission is $5 at the door.  Please contact Miss Toman or Chris South if you would like to chaperone or be part of the parent committee.

 

Friday in your 4th hour you will be nominating your classmates to represent you on the court.

 

Anyone who is interested in being part of the track and field team this spring should meet in Mr. Scholma's(153) room during lunch today.

 

Bowling teams will be dismissed at 2:25 today.

 

The varsity basketball team meets today in rm 111 immediately at lunch.  Boys’ varsity practice today at 5:00 pm.

 

Do you know someone in a nursing home?  It can be a lonely place, waiting for a visitor.

Students interested in exploring "Pet Ministry" can bring their lunch to Room 155 this Friday, January 13 (Mrs. Wood's room) to learn more about volunteering and meet a dog that has passed the "canine good citizen" test. You do not need to own a dog to participate.
