Here are some important parent announcements to remember and mark down on our calendars: 1) Report cards should have arrived in the mail...let us know if you did NOT receive them, and we will check on that for you. Or ask your student if they beat you to the mailbox!!!
2) Ski club will begin Monday January 9, but we need at least 12 more students in order to make it work with the transportation. We will be able to use the bus, but only if we have enough students. If you have signed up and paid, thank you! Please let Kyle Kempster know if you are interested and planning on being a part of ski club but have not yet signed up or paid. If you have any questions, please give him a call at (231) 799-9644 ext 220. 3) The Homecoming Parent Committee meeting is TOMORROW, January 6 at 1:00PM in the Advancement Office. If you are interested in helping make this Homecoming Dance (2/3/12) extra special, please check in the office when you come on Friday, and we will direct you to the right room!
4) The Community Foundation for Muskegon County is pleased to be hosting live-streaming of the award-winning January Series of Calvin College…right here in downtown Muskegon! On weekdays from January 4-24, come to the Beardsley Theater in the Frauenthal Center (427 W. Western Ave.) and watch nationally-acclaimed speakers on today’s most relevant topics: bipartisan insights into the Obama administration, the divided Congress and the 2012 election, the future of the Middle East, thoughts on small farms and local food systems, and much more. It’s free - no tickets or reservations are required. Just show up at the Beardsley from 12:30 – 1:30pm (bring your lunch if you want) and enjoy 15 days of a free liberal arts education!
