THE JANUARY SERIES IS COMING TO THE FRAUENTHAL!!!

The Community Foundation for Muskegon County is pleased to be hosting live-streaming of the award-winning January Series of Calvin College…right here in downtown Muskegon!  On weekdays from January 4-24, come to the Beardsley Theater in the Frauenthal Center (427 W. Western Ave.) and watch nationally-acclaimed speakers on today’s most relevant topics:  bipartisan insights into the Obama administration, the divided Congress and the 2012 election, the future of the Middle East, thoughts on small farms and local food systems, and much more.  It’s free - no tickets or reservations are required.  Just show up at the Beardsley from 12:30 – 1:30pm (bring your lunch if you want) and enjoy 15 days of a free liberal arts education!  For a full list of speakers and topics, visit www.calvin.edu/january.  Contact Heidi Sytsema with questions:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. at the Homecoming Dance on Friday, February 3.

ANNOUNCEMENTS – Monday, December 12, 2011

Senior Class Officers meet in Miss Toman's room tomorrow at lunch for a meeting.

There will be no student council meeting this week.

Project Grace is still on!  Look for your class jars at lunch; we have till Wednesday to reach our goal!  Seniors are still in the lead with donations.

The 3 point intramural noon hour tournament will begin tomorrow noon in the aux gym. See schedule at AD office.

Boys’ basketball will practice at 3:30 today and girls at 5:30.

WMC presents their annual Christmas Collage on Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon.  Tickets are available in the office for general admission of $4.  Also Collage DVDs will be available for 17.50 thru Dec. 9th with delivery before Christmas break. All orders after Dec. 9th will be 20.00 and delivery would be after Christmas break.  Pick up an order form in the office.

Picture taking for winter sports teams will be Tuesday, December 13.  Please follow this schedule:  2:45 Freshman boys basketball, 2:55 girls freshman basketball, 3:10 boys JV basketball, 3:20 Boys varsity basketball, 3:30 girls jv basketball, 3:40 girls varsity basketball, 3:50 cheerleading. Teams should wear their dark jerseys.
