Baby Becksvoort has arrived! 
Clara Jean was born at 1:16 PM on November 10
which was also her Grandpa Becksvoort's 70th birthday!! 
She was 7 lb. 11 oz, 20.5 inches long, and everyone is doing well.
We celebrate with Kathryn (choir director), Daddy David,
and big brother Jack with the safe arrival of Baby Clara :)
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!!

Happy 11.11.11 ~ Powder Puff is here!  Meet in the Big Room at 3:15 with your team for pictures, ground rules and prayer before heading outside.

There will be a meeting for all chapel discussion group leaders at 9:00 at the school (meet in the lobby)on Saturday.   We will leave from there for breakfast.

Play rehearsal for all cast members on Monday from 3:15 to 6:30.

Boys’ basketball players will do more conditioning today from 3:15-4:15.

There will be a boys’ tennis team party today after school at Coach Maycroft’s house.  His address is 4551 Deer Creek in Muskegon.  Check in the office if you need directions.  If you have not turned in your tennis uniform yet bring it to the party and give it to Coach Maycroft.

Boys’ basketball practice will begin on Monday at 3:25 sharp with varsity at aux. gym and frosh and jv at main gym.  There are still 7 boys who have not had physicals before their first basketball practice on Monday.  You will not practice until you have the form filled out by a doctor.

The first annual boys and girls gator aide intramural free throw tournament will be held during noon hours in two divisions:  girl and boy basketball team players and all other students.  You will shoot 10 free throws in competition with winners moving on.  Go to the AD office and see Mr. G for signing up.

The annual boys’ soccer teams’ potluck will be held Thursday, Nov. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the school's cafeteria. All JV players bring a main dish to pass.  All Varsity players bring either a salad or side dish to pass.  All players bring a 2 liter of pop, as well.  Dessert will be provided by the senior parents.

All fall sports uniforms must be turned in ASAP. Bring them to the AD Office across from main office. Cross country uniforms may be given to Coach Brook.

The musical will be hosting a Film and Discussion event on Saturday, 11/12/2011 from 1:00 - ?? in the high school music room.  We will be showing the movie version of "Carousel" and having an open discussion on the topics, and themes of the show. This event is open to anyone interested in joining us...Students, parents, staff, etc.

Carolers needed in Lakeside! We need two groups of students (6-8 in each group) who would be willing to carol on the sidewalks of Lakeside on Saturday, Dec. 3, between 11AM and 1PM or 1 and 3PM.
