Music Boosters Sub sale runs through October 25.  All band and choir members will be given an order form to sell subs and croissants.  Start your fundraising early for music tour next year.  Each student can bank $1 per sub or donate to the Music Booster Fund.

Kayla DeWyn, Lauren Kimbrough, Andrea Grier, and Jenifer Mead please meet today at lunch in room 213.

Juniors who handed in a junior class officer nomination form, please meet in Mrs. Kreuze's room during lunch today.

Congratulations to the following Artists: Johanna Boeve, Erin Frantz, Nick Frein, Emily Hoffer and Jenna Visscher. Their Artwork is representing WMC at the Red Lotus Gallery in Downtown Muskegon (across from the Y on Western Ave). for the month of October. There is an Open House Reception this Sunday, October 16, from 1-3; come see their work and other Professional Artists!

Seniors: Take advantage of the next 2 days off and make some College visits!

Signup sheets for the Bowling teams are in the Library. If you are interested, please signup. The first meeting will be at lunch on Monday Oct 17.

All boys interested in being part of the swim team this winter season please sign up in the office.

All girls going out for basketball this winter season will meet during lunch today in the gym lobby by the trophy case.  Lunch will be provided with water or Gatorade.

Boys who are interested in playing on the frosh, jv, or varsity basketball teams please meet in room 111 at lunch today.  Bring your lunch with you to the meeting.

Boys tennis players please remember to bring $23 for your sweatshirt today.  Coach Wilkie will be in the lobby at break to meet with you and collect your money.

There will be an open gym on Thursday morning at 11am in the big gym for boys and girls.

Conditioning for girls cheerleading will begin Monday, Oct. 17.  Meet in Mrs. VanHekken’s room at 3:15.  Conditioning will meet regularly Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

FOOTBALL COACH HAS SPECIAL WORDS OF PRAISE FOR WMC SENIOR  JASON JACKSON:

"Jason played one of the more inspired games of football last Friday night that I have watched in a long time!" North Muskegon head varsity coach John Slocum said. "He is an outstanding young man who consistently gives a special effort on the field. He is a great example for both teams and fans alike. He had 16 tackles from his defensive end position, many of them were truly special plays. It made me enjoy coaching the game that night."
