Newaygo County Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect is in desperate need of volunteers to help at Halloween Hollow in Newaygo.  At this time they do not have enough volunteers to ensure that the event will take place on October 1st.  If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering please contact me or call NCPCA at (231) 924-7616.  This child friendly event has been going on for over 18yrs., so it would be sad if it couldn’t continue due to lack of volunteers especially since over 1000 children in Newaygo County usually attend the 3 hr event.  If teens volunteer, they can use this opportunity towards their required community service hours for school.
