Tootin' WMC'S Horn RE: The Music Tour!

The Chamber and Concert Choirs both earned Superior ratings and received 1st place in their respective divisions at the festival competition in Williamsburg, where there were well over a dozen schools represented.

The Jazz Band placed 2nd and the Concert Band placed 4th, and Miss Lydia Post said,

"Our bands did really well, and I was quite pleased with their performance. I would give a special thank you to the students and parents who helped with loading, unloading, and setting up the band equipment. Without them, things would have been very different!

I had numerous people at the performing location tell me afterwards how polite and courteous our students were. Lovely job, WMCHS!"

The music boosters are asking for at least 6 people
to help with the uniform turn in on Graduation Night.
It will take about 1 hour after the graduation ceremony
to help check in and sort the band and choir uniforms.
This would be a great way to finish off those needed service hours or just a fun way to say good bye to the students for the summer.
