Spring Break Starts 4/1/11 and Announcements 3/31/11

Have a wonderful Spring Break...
we will see your student on Monday, April 11th at 8AM :)

ANNOUNCEMENTS –Thursday, March 31, 2011

“Gentle words bring life and health.” Proverbs 15:4

All students will be meeting in their service project groups today during chapel.  Please check the lists located on school bulletin boards for your assigned teacher and room.

Junior class officers please meet in Mrs. Kreuze's room at lunch today.

Support CF during spring break!  Wear your CF shirt wherever you spend your break, take a photo, and send it to Miss Toman or Sarah VanWinkle and we will see how far and wide our support travels!

If you ordered a Bruteball shirt but have not paid for it ($16) or picked it up, please do so this week, thank you!

Calling all students and Staff! Get ready to enter the Annual Photo Show. The Theme this year will be  "Light!" Photography comes from the Greek word "drawing with light." So look to the Light as your source of inspiration as you submit  1 or 2 entries (8" x 10") by Wed. April 27. Have fun taking Photos during Spring break or look over your favorite "shots", but they must be taken within the last year! See Mrs. Van Duyn if you have more questions!

6th and 7th grade lock in on Friday, April 29 from 6:00 to 11:00 pm and Class of 2015 Unite! on Friday, May 20 from 6:00 to 11:00 pm.  Student Ambassadors need to be at both events.  Juniors and Seniors interested in helping are asked to sign up in Mr. Kempster’s office. Parents, staff, and board members interested in helping please call Kyle Kempster at 231-799-9644 x220.

A volunteer list of possible babysitters for spring break for parents at MCS who might need them is needed. The daycare is not open so parents have been asking if there is anyone who could watch kids. Any students interested please stop in the office to sign up.  We have a grandmother who is looking for someone to watch her granddaughter over Spring Break. They live in the Grand Haven Area. She was wondering if there was a high school student who would be interested in babysitting her. She is 6 years old. Anyone interested please call Muskegon Christian School daycare to get more information.

Seniors who live in the Tri-Cities area or Newaygo County, your newspapers will be looking for a Senior picture of you to put in their special edition of their local newspaper.  The deadline is today.  If you miss the deadline, your picture will not be included in the newspaper.
