If we win the game on Tuesday evening we will have a half day on Thursday.
Our Thursday game would be at 2:50PM, and we would release after third period to allow for travel time.



FUN AND FREE FIELD TRIP FOR CHAPERONS
-Mr. Conlin is looking for 3 to 4 parents (or alumni) who would be willing to be drivers and chaperons for our Biology Field Trip. You would be needed from 9:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. on Friday April 29. The plan will be to drive to the Carousel Cinema on Grand Haven Rd. to see "African Cats" and then drive to Grand Rapids to see the "Bodies Revealed" exhibit. You would get service hours, get to see a movie for free, get free popcorn/drink, AND explore the "Bodies Revealed" exhibit for free (while checking on students). Congratulations to our medal-winning Science Olympiad team: Johanna Boeve, Brian Brook, Chase Sutter, Cord Sutter, Nicole Teeter, Summer Lile, Lindsay Purvis and Andrew Vriesman. Saturday at the Region 15 competition they placed in seven different events.  They finished in 8th place out of 15 teams.

 

Junior class officers please meet in Mrs. Kreuze's room at lunch.

 

Student Council will meet TODAY at lunch!

Would you like to be part of the relay game for tomorrow's pep rally?  We need 1 girl and 1 boy per class.  If you would like to volunteer please see Sarah VanWinkle by 3:03pm today!

 

All Subway cards and money should be turned into the office by Wednesday.

 

Student Council will sponsor the after prom dance.  Juniors and Seniors who attend the dance only are $15 and Freshman and Sophomores are $7.  See you at the Grand Haven Community Center, Friday, April 15 at 9pm!!!!!!!!!  Remember to have guest forms turned into the office by Wed, April 13!

 

Junior-Senior Banquet tickets are going to be on sale this week.  You can buy your tickets in the office after school Monday-Thursday.  The cost will be $30 for Juniors and Seniors that did not attend last year.  It will be $25 for Seniors who did attend last year.

 

Our boys basketball team will face Flint Beecher Tuesday in the Class C Quarterfinal game at Mt. Pleasant High School at 7 p.m.

We will have a student/fan bus if at least 40 people sign up. Students will be given first chance. They may sign up thru the noon hour Monday and then what seats are left will be offered to parents and WMC fans. Cost is $16 per person which includes a $6 ticket for the game. Money must be paid when signing up.

Bus will leave WMC at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday and will stop at a fast-food restaurant en route. Bus will leave for WMC immediately following the game.

School start Wednesday is being delayed until 10 a.m.

Advance tickets for Tuesday's game are on sale at the WMC high school office. Tickets are $6. The gym at Mt. Pleasant High School holds 2,500 fans, but for those who want a ticket in hand before heading north, they will be available at WMC thru Tuesday noon during school hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until they are gone.  School start Wednesday is being delayed until 10 a.m.

 

Golf practice will begin today at Chase Hammond at 3:30 pm weather permitting.

 

Seniors who live in the Tri-Cities area or Newaygo County, your newspapers will be looking for a Senior picture of you to put in their special edition of their local newspaper.  Please turn one into the office as soon as possible.
