Dear Parents,

Don't forget the musical, "Bye, Bye, Birdie" is this weekend!  Get your tickets in the office or at the door of the Orchard View Community Auditorium.  Friday night's performance is at 7PM.   Saturday's are at 1PM and 7PM...come out and support the Arts!  Tickets are $7 for adults/$5 for students & Seniors!  See you there :)


Here is a few important items to take note of:

1)  Next week Monday and Tuesday-- Freshmen, Sophomores,
and Seniors have regular full days of school before they take
their exams on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. 

2)  The order of exams is this:
Wednesday--8:30AM--1st hour      10:30AM--2nd hour
Thursday--8:30AM--3rd hour         10:30AM--4th hour
Friday--8:30AM--5th hour                10:30AM--6th hour

3)  Juniors will have a regular full day of school on Monday.
Tuesday they will take the ACT here at school...make sure
they are here on time (8am), have eaten a good breakfast,
have their calculator, and a couple of #2 pencils--sharpened!!!
(We will supply a healthy snack table for them at break time :)
They will be here from 8AM-1PM and then may go home.
Wednesday and Thursday they will be taking more of the MME
tests from 8AM-12noon.  They are free to leave after that...
(Friday they do not have to come to school , but do NOT let the
other students know that!!!  We will have mutiny :)

4)  I am attaching an updated school calendar for the rest of the school year...multiple people have painstakingly gone over it to make sure it is correct; but until I send it out to my best critics--you, the parents!--so we will just have to wait and see ;)  Please print it out for your fridge or bulletin board.  Let me know if you have any questions...

Thank you for a spectacular spirit week!  The final class competition results are in:  Freshman ~ 895 points, Sophomores ~ 1258, Seniors ~ 1208, and Juniors ~ 1975

Varsity boys’ basketball players meet in room 111 today with your lunch.

The Bowling Team will meet Wednesday during lunch.

All those who are interested in being a part of the track and field team this spring should stop by Mr. Scholma's room during lunch on Thursday.

Freshmen girls’ basketball players please turn in your washed uniforms to the athletic office across from the main office as soon as possible.

JV girls’ basketball players will be dismissed today at 2:50 p.m. for a 3 p.m. departure by van and cars to North Muskegon.

Class of 2014 sweatshirts available from Mrs. Workman.  She has five smalls available for $25 each.

Freshmen boys’ basketball team members are dismissed early on Thursday at 2:05 pm.

Musical Tickets are on sale now in the High School Office:  Show Dates are 2/25 with a 7:00 PM Curtain and 2/26 with a 1:00 PM and a 7:00 PM Curtain.  Ticket prices are $7.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Children and Seniors.  The show will be performed at the Orchard View Community Auditorium at Orchard View High School.
