HOW AM I GOING TO PAY FOR MY CHILD’S COLLEGE EDUCATION?

Parents of Juniors & Seniors:  Are you concerned about how you are going to pay

for your child’s college education?

Have a fear of forms?  Wondering if you will qualify for financial aid?

If so we would encourage you to attend a financial aid seminar offered at our school on

 

Wednesday, January 19 , 2011 from 6:30-8PM in the Cafeteria.

(This has been purposely scheduled during conference times,

so you are able to make both and just come to WMC once!)

ANNOUNCEMENTS –Tuesday, January 11, 2011

Seniors:  If you did not turn in your order form for your cap, gown, tassel, announcements and other graduation products, please turn your order form and deposit into the office no later than THIS THURSDAY, JANUARY 13th.  This will be you last chance to place your order with the class.  Please take advantage of this deadline and ordering with your classmates.  If orders are not received by THURSDAY, a special late order form will have to be used which has higher prices and limited selections.

Yearbook photographers please meet in room 215 today immediately at lunch time.

 

Mrs. Workman has some ‘Class of 2014’ sweatshirts available for sale at $25 each.  Sizes available – 1-XXL, 1-L, and 5 – S.

 

Anyone interested in being a part of the track and field team this spring should meet in Mr. Scholma's room on Wednesday during lunch.

 

All boys varsity basketball players meet in Room 111 during noon hour today.

 

WMC varsity boys basketball coach Jim Goorman will be interviewed on FM 97.5 tonight at 6:10.  He will review the undefeated season to date and talk about what's ahead.  Stay tuned.

DATE TO KEEP IN MIND: Saturday, Jan. 22 is "Marathon Saturday" at Spring Lake High School. All six of our basketball teams will be playing at Spring Lake. The freshmen will begin play at 10 a.m. at the SL Middle School, the former high school. All other games will be played at Spring Lake High School:  Freshmen girls will play at 11 a.m., junior varsity girls at 1 p.m., junior varsity boys at 3 p.m., varsity girls at 5 p.m. and varsity boys at 7 p.m.


We will again have our annual WMC broom ball extravaganza after the auction this year.  What's Broom Ball?  Picture floor hockey on a full sized ice rink: a ton of people running and sliding in tennis shoes with several balls in play at one time.  Check your calendar for 9pm on Saturday January 29 and then see Mr. Falk for more information and how to sign up!

 

Advanced Notice:  Homecoming is Friday, February 18, 2011!  Get fired up!!!

 

Remember we do NOT have school on Monday, January 17 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
