Just a reminder that the Calvin College January Series starts today from 12:30-1:30 in the Big Room. Expand your mind in the new year! Bring your lunch or enjoy our beverages and cookies while you listen. Here is what today's lecture will be about:
Einstein’s God: Conversations about Science and the Human Spirit

Ms. Tippett is host and producer of Being (formerly Speaking of Faith), which airs on more than 200 public radio stations in the U.S. and internationally via the Web. A Peabody award-winning broadcaster, she is known as one of the most intelligent and insightful commentators on religion, ethics, and the human spirit. Through the show and her writing she has endeavored to enliven public discussion about the intersections of spirituality, faith and everyday life. She is the author of two books Speaking of Faith and Einstein's God.

Senior Pictures: Reminder only head and shoulders shots. We need two pictures, one for the yearbook and one for the wall collage.
Seniors: Jostens will be here during lunch today. They will take orders for graduation caps, gown, and other materials.
Science Olympiad meeting on Thursday at lunch in Mr. Forbes’ room.
Please dismiss the bowling team at 2:20 on Thursday. The match starts at 3PM.
This Friday is the first Friday of January so it’s time for another First Friday Fellowship lunch: you are encouraged to sit with someone new!

Bowlers: If you haven't received your uniform shirt yet, see Mr. Krueger today. Remember, for the match, jeans are not allowed. Must be nice pants/slacks. Match vs OakRidge tomorrow and Fruitport Invitational on Sat.
Music Students and Parents! Want to make some money for your music tour this spring? Check out the following opportunity!
When: Friday, January 22nd in the evening, Where: 2nd CRC in Grand Haven, Project: Need 6-8 students to serve a dinner.
Transportation can be provided if you need help getting there.
Come support WMC’s basketball teams this Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, watch the JV Girls’ and Boys’ teams take on Muskegon Catholic starting with the Girls at 5:30 pm. On Friday, watch the Freshmen Girls’ take on Mona Shores at 4:00 pm, the Girls’ Varsity team will take on Muskegon Catholic at 5:30, and the Boys’ Varsity team will play Muskegon Catholic at 7:00 pm. On Friday students should wear all black along with your ‘BLACKOUT’ shirts. If you need to purchase a shirt, they will be for sale for $8 at lunch today and tomorrow.
