Parents,
Here are some very important December calendar updates for you:

Monday, December 13--Half Day for Staff Professional Development --school starts at 11:50AM and ends at 3PM; NO lunch will be served
--we will have 4th, 5th, & 6th hours using the usual Monday schedule

Thursday, December 16--Collage practice for Band/Choir students and Project Grace Christmas shopping/gift wrapping for the rest of the student body
--we will be treating the entire student body to lunch before they take off in their different directions
--non-driving band/choir members will be transported by bus to/from the Frauenthal and will be back at school at 3PM for pick-up or practices
--Project Grace shoppers will be with staff members and transported by them and returning to school to wrap the gifts until 3PM

Wednesday, December 22--Half day of school--8AM to 11:21AM
--we will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hours this morning.  CHRISTmas
vacation will then begin...school resumes on Monday, January 3, 2011.

This week 5^th and 6^th hours will be flipped.

Students please remind your parents to drop off and pick up in the front of school.  Please do not use the back parking lot for drop off or pick up.

Backpacks, athletic bags, etc. should be stored in lockers or on the racks by room 151.

Thank you for making this year's Christmas Banquet such a success!  If you are missing any jewelry, took the wrong suit jacket home, etc please see Miss Toman!

Send a Candy Cane to a Friend. Candy Canes will be on sale every lunch period this week in the main entrance.  They will be delivered next week Wednesday. The cost is $1.00 and 25 cents of every sale will be donated to Project Grace. The rest will buy books for the library. So Send a message to a friend via Candy Cane and support the Library and Project Grace.

Jostens representatives will be here today during lunch.  If you still need to pay for and pick up your class ring, need any warranty adjustments to your class ring or if you would still like to order a class ring, please see them at that time.  Don’t forget that balances need to be paid with cash or money order only, no checks can be accepted.

Student Council meeting on Tuesday at lunch in Miss Toman’s room.

The girls’ basketball teams are looking for team managers.  The varsity team is looking for at least two: one to help on the bench during games and the other to video tape the games, and the JV and Freshmen teams are each looking for one.  This is a great way to earn service hours and get into the girls’ basketball games for free.  If you are interested or have questions, see Mrs. Kreuze.

The Girls’ Freshmen Basketball team will have a game against Muskegon High School today at 4:00 pm.  The game is away at Muskegon.  The team will be dismissed at 2:50 and the van will leave at 3:00 pm.

Freshmen boys’ basketball team will be dismissed early on Friday at 2:20 pm.

The Volleyball Teams’ banquet will be on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm in the school cafeteria.  Parents and players are invited to a potluck supper.  Varsity team members please bring a main dish to share, JV team members please bring a salad to share, and Freshmen team members please bring a dessert to share.
