Dear Parents,

First of all, thank you for your calls and prayers last week while I was out recovering from knee surgery.  It was a great success, and I am now walking pain-free ...God is good! (Bone chips & cartilage under your knee cap is NOT recommended for a good time :) Good-bye, crutches...hello, walking shoes!

Secondly, as your teen probably told you, we have exams next week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before the Thanksgiving holiday.  Here is the schedule to aid you in car-pooling and working out all the logistics of high schoolers and half days!  (Ugh! )

Monday--1st hour--8:30AM
2nd hour--10:30AM
Tuesday--3rd hour--8:30AM
4th hour--10:30AM
Wednesday--5th hour--8:30AM
6th hour--10:30AM

The students must stay in their exam for one hour and are usually done after an hour and a half.  There is no hot lunch any day next week, of course.  Encourage them to study, study, study!

We'll need them back on the 29th for the start of our second trimester, so enjoy them while you have them!  After you are full of turkey and thankful for all your blessings, make sure you attend our all-school play, "For the Defense," in the Big Room Thursday and Friday evenings at 7:30PM.  Tickets will be on sale soon in the office...we'll let you know when they come in!

Christmas Banquet Tickets go on sale today at lunch!  They are $25 for the evening (dinner, skit, dance) or $15 for the dance at the door at 8pm.  Get them soon; the sale ends Wednesday, Nov 24!

Miss Toman is collecting pennies.  Her goal is to have 100 by Friday, will you help her?

Student Council will be meeting today in Miss Toman’s room at lunch.

Lauren Merz, Elyse Ray, Matt DeKryger, Collin Breit, Matt Wisen, Tim Schuitema and Jacob Berens please meet Mr. VandenBrand in the lobby Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. for the trip to NorthPointe for all-conference pictures. Please dress accordingly. Guys wear ties or bring one along to wear for photo.

Bowlers, 1st day of practice today.  All Bowlers, please meet in the Library at 11:45, during lunch, to talk about transportation.

Student Ambassadors please give your t-shirt size to Mr. Kempster by this week Wednesday so he can order the Student Ambassador t-shirts.

If you would like to order soccer state championship shirts or sweatshirts, Friday is the last day to get your paid order in.

There are extra subs or croissants to sell for $2 each.  Stop in the office if you would like more to sell.
