Western Michigan Christian High School presents:
"Break through the Noise" Event

Please join us at 7:30PM, September 24th for the 8th grade student and parent event and check out WMCHS.
The teachers do some really cool activities in the classrooms and there’s a lot of other fun stuff going on.
You can
tour the school, meet teachers and current students at WMC. RSVP online to get free tickets to the Volleyball Triangular at 6pm at: tickets.wmchs.net. Parent and student event starts at 7:30 and goes until 9pm.

(Current Parents:  If you know of any family with an 8th grader that is wondering where to send their student next year or they are considering WMC already,
please tell them about this event and share the above information--thanks so much!)



Western Michigan Christian High School is looking for Christian coaches for freshmen and junior varsity girls basketball teams.

ANNOUNCEMENTS – Monday, September 20, 2010

Today is Clash Day, Tuesday is Twin (or several people) Day, match at least 3 things, Wednesday is Color Day, (Seniors-Black, Juniors-Orange, Sophomores-Yellow, Freshmen-Blue) Wednesday is also See you at the Pole.  Breakfast starts at 7:20 for only $2 and we will be at the pole at 7:50 am.  Thursday is Theme (Holidays) Day, (Seniors-King Kamehameha Day, Juniors-Fourth of July, Sophomores-Valentines Day, Freshmen-New Year’s Eve) Friday is Green and White Day.

 

Student Council will be meeting on Tuesday in Miss Toman’s room at lunch.

 

Today, the Photography class please meet in the art room with your camera.  On Tuesday, the Photography class please meet in the parking lot as soon as the lunch bell rings with your camera.  Don’t get left behind!

 

If you ordered school pictures, they should be available at 3:00 today in room 215.

 

Thanks to all who auditioned for the Fall Play this year.  Parts are posted online and will also be posted by the office.

 

Play rehearsal on Thursday night from 6:45 to 9:00 pm.

 

Cross Country please meet in Sr. Brook’s room at 3:10 and ready to run.

 

If you would like a WMC Sweatshirt with your class year on the back - please stop by the advancement dept to order yours.  They will be sold for $25.00 each - and we will ONLY be ordering for students who pay at the time they place their order.  All orders will be due to the advancement dept by October 1.

 

Starting this week, Warrior Wearhouse items will be available to purchase in the Advancement Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

 

Grant McCastle please stop in the office today.  Any volleyball team member who still have gold cards and/or money, please bring to the office ASAP!  Parents--you can still buy one in the office for $10!  Please stop in this week to get yours.

 

Open gym for boys and girls basketball on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.

 

FREE ELECTRONICS RECYCLING!  Old electronics hiding in those closets?  Bring them to First CRC, 516 S. Ferry in Grand Haven, on Saturday, Oct 2, 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Old computers, monitors, keyboards, floppy discs, broken radios, clocks, VCR & DVD players, video game players and more can be recycled for FREE!  ($10.00 donation for televisions for lead abatement.)  Volunteers will be waiting in the church parking lot to help you unload.  And, if you have unwanted metal items – bring them as well.  All items will be environmentally recycled.  Questions?  Call LaDon at First CRC, 842-6370
