Faith plays an integral role in the educational experience here at Western Michigan Christian. We are creating an atmosphere where our students and staff members can develop their personal relationships with Jesus Christ through daily Scripture reading and devotions, regular chapels and student-lead small group sessions. Our aim is to cultivate WMCHS students into mature young adults who will continue to serve God and be reflections of God's love to others in their communities throughout the world. In just the past four years, students at WMCHS have raised over $23,000 for Project Grace, benefiting those less fortunate right here in the Grand Haven-Muskegon area. Over 4,000 service hours have also been donated to family, friends, church, and other worthy causes by the senior class alone. Just this past winter, a student-lead effort collected numerous hoodies for the homeless people of Muskegon. And, the school year began with every single student volunteering for various service projects, including raking leaves, cleaning houses, and just plain caring for other people. |
