Tests or quizzes not made up within 3 days of an absence will be given a 0.
ABSENCES
Students must make up any missed work when absent from class. If students are absent, work can be obtained by checking my personal webpage at www.wmchs.net, checking the weekly homework sheet, or by checking the homework board. For each day absent, students have 1 school day to make up the work. In the event of a prearranged absence, it is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements with the teacher to “make up” missed work.
CLASSROOM RULES
- Have all appropriate materials and supplies at your desk and be seated when class begins. If you forget something you will not be allowed to leave class to retrieve it. This will affect your daily participation grade. You are allowed 2 tardies per trimester – the first will serve as a warning, the second will result in making up the time missed after class, and the third will result in a 7:30am detention.
- Respect the people, equipment and furnishings of the classroom. Don’t use rude or trashy language.
- Don’t even think about bringing a cell phone into class unless you would like for me to make phone calls to all of your friends on your behalf. The first cell phone incident will be treated as a warning – I will hold your phone until the end of the day. The second incident will result in a 7:30am detention and I will hold your phone for 24 hours.
- Use the restroom BEFORE class. Any in-class bathroom break will be treated as a tardy.
- Glorify God in all that you do in the classroom
