| CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS BATTLE THE COURSE AND HEAT AT JOHNSON PARK |
|
The WMC cross country team Thursday ran in the West Michigan Lutheran meet at Johnson Park in Grand Rapids. It was a great day to watch a cross country meet but the runners would have preferred a cooler day. The WMC runners ran a very good race and one runner set a personal record on this harder than average course. The girls placed in sixth place out of seven. Notable finishes were Adrienne Aardema in 10th and Nicole Teeter in 14th. Courtne Stuk also made her debut. The boys finished in 4th place out of 7. Brian Brook led the team with Lucas Crandle just behind. Nate Taylor ran an excellent race to get his best time ever. If you would like to come out and see WMC race at Johnson Park, the teams will be back there next Tuesday. The forecast calls for another nice day for spectators! |
