WMC advanced undefeated in pool play and then went on to beat Hart in the semifinal by scores of 25-17 and 25-19.  In a repeat of last year's final, WMC met North Muskegon, but the result was the opposite.  WMC lost in a very close match that took three sets by scores of 20-25, 27-29 and 14-16.

Leaders for the Warriors were Lauren Merz with 38 digs, 45 kills, and 18 blocks.

Rachel Bruinsma with 22 aces, 34 digs, and 34 kills.

Elyse Ray with 16 blocks.

Vanessa Eekhoff with 22 kills.

Victoria Arangure' with 8 aces and 81 assists.

Julie Merz with 12 aces and 38 digs.

"The girls played consistently and aggressively throughout the day.  Their last two matches were a preview of the district match-up draw," WMC coach Bret Noordhoff said.
