BOYS SOCCER TEAMS OPEN SEASON AT OV TODAY The boys soccer teams kick off fall action today with the junior varsity and varsity traveling to Muskegon Orchard View. JV action begins at 4 p.m. followed by the varsity at about 5:45 p.m. DIRECTIONS: Coming from Muskegon on U.S. 31, take Exit #114/Apple Avenue and go east on Apple about .5 mile to Quarterline Road. Turn left and go north on Quarterline about 1.3 miles. OV will be on your right. Turn right on the road that runs along the south side of the school and keep going until you run into the soccer field which is located east of the school. VARSITY VOLLEYBALL TRAVELS TO WYOMING GODWIN HEIGHTS SATURDAY The Lady Warriors varsity volleyball team travels to Wyoming Godwin Heights High School Saturday for an invitational beginning at 9 a.m. DIRECTIONS: Go to Grand Rapids and get on southbound U.S. 131. Take the 36th Street exit and go east on 36th Street for nearly one mile and school will be on your left. JUNIOR VARSITY VOLLEYBALL PLAYS AT COOPERSVILLE SATURDAY The junior varsity girls volleyball team opens its season Saturday at 9 a.m. at an invitational at Coopersville High School at 9 a.m. DIRECTIONS: Get on I-96 and take exit #16/Coopersville. Turn left and go north on 68th Avenue to Randall. Turn right onto Randall and go 1.5 miles east on to East St. Turn left on East and arrive at 198 East. St. SCRIMMAGES TUESDAY AGAINST GR CHRISTIAN AT GAINEY ATHLETIC COMPLEX Junior varsity and varsity boys soccer teams will be scrimmaging Grand Rapids Christian Tuesday at 4 p.m. Both scrimmages will begin at 4 p.m. They are being held at the Gainey Athletic Complex. Players need to be there by 3:15 p.m. If you can drive, please call coaches Hulings or DeLass.
DIRECTIONS: The Gainey Athletic Complex is located near the campus of Calvin College. Take I-96 to Grand Rapids and take the #40a/Cascade Road West exit. Go west .4 mile and turn left on East Paris and go one mile to 1661 E Paris which will be the entrance to the Gainey Athletic Complex.
AUG. 31 HOME SOCCER GAMES MOVED TO FREMONT AND TIMES CHANGED
The times and locations of the Tuesday, Aug. 31 soccer games against Fremont have been moved to Fremont. The varsity teams will play at 4 p.m. followed by the jv at about 5:45 p.m.
